If you're confused by the directions that came with 3m commandhooks, watch this easy step by step video. Remember, command hooks do not require glue or nails, so they're perfect for renters or people who don't want to scuff up their walls. but they do not recommend that you hang pictures with these.
1. Clean the surface where you're going to install the hook.
2. Unclip the clear plastic piece from the back of the hook.
3. Peel the sticker that says "command" and attach to the clear plastic piece (this is the piece that will hold the hook). The sticker label that says "wall" should be for the wall.
4. Peel the sticker for the wall and stick the piece that has the attached plastic piece to the wall. Press firmly against the wall.
5. Snap the hook to the plastic piece that is attached to the wall.
