DOKKEN brought me here HIMSELF!! The year was 1985 and the very FIRST concert I ever saw was Don Dokken opening for Twisted Sister at the Broome County Area Binghamton NY!! I was just 19 years old, and for YEARS I wanted to go to concerts but "nobody would let me" as first my parents wouldn't allow me to go to shows before I graduated high my first wife FORBID ME to go see concerts as if she was my parent or something!!



I had JUST gotten divorced three weeks earlier and THEN this show came to it the first concert I ever saw!!! And I was completely taken away!! Since then I have seen Whitesnake, Motley Crue, Ratt, Poison, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Blue Oyster Cult, Rush, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, AC DC, LA Guns, Gothic Slam, Lindsey Stirling, Megadeth, Warlock, Sanctuary and Metal Church and a few others like Testament, Ice Water Mansion and so on.



So many great 80s bands and so many great songs and fond memories!!! God I miss those days between 1985 and 1996!!! Sadly today nobody listens to great music on the radio anymore!!

I saw Dokken live at the Ocean Arena in Daytona Beach back in the summer of 1983 or 84. They opened up for Lover Boy! Great concert.
