I'm pretty sure there's one book that he draws himself grown up. But it's not exactly known since that's how Greg draws himself.

Mini theory, with this bit of knowledge in how people in Greg’s family can look the same, is it possible that the diaries beyond what should be Greg’s middle school years are being written by different family members who bare his appearance and just continue to use the name Greg? It could help explain some inconsistencies between the diaries as they’re not written by the same people.

IIRC, I've once remembered reading somewhere the reason why Greg draws Males heavily detailed while Females looking almost similar is due to they're all a Mystery to him, or something like that.

Which, to me, is contradicted when we see Greg draw older Female Characters looking Square-ish.
