Wonderful video. The agave is beautiful in real life too. I always enjoy stopping for a few moments at your garden when passing by.

Really nice, fortunately we don't have to go to the extreme to protect our plants here in South Texas. Love your garden😊

Great video Dragan. Amazing how you keep your collection alive. My agave americana has been outside for 5 years at 55°N. Simple overhead protection here but I'm costal with lows of only -5°C. Similar to yours mine is in a raised bed. Agave americana variagata and mediopicta similarly 5 years outdoors here. Cool to see you back👍

Amazing how everything flourishes in your area. I Overwintered my two Washingtonia Robustas for the first time outside this past winter and they did really well in zone 6b. I used Foam Board insulation all around (but I uncovered mine a few times when it was abnormally warm in February). I will go with Foam board again for the majority, but use multiwall polycarbonate for the south facing side. I had initially planned on Planting a few more Palms (Mule Palm, Sabal Palmetto) but didn't get the beds (like you built yours) done so I will wait until next spring as I want to give them as much time to establish as possible.
My Question for you is (I really have a hundred questions). What thickness polycarbonate do you use and is it twin wall, three or five wall.
Thanks again for sharing.

Question, why didn't you make a backyard update last year?

I m surprised pp don’t complain about the fixtures you had in front of the house during winter. Probably Canadians don’t have Home association rules.

Hi: I am in the beginning stages of trying a few tropical plants in the garden and I am wondering what you do your container plants with regards to pests when you are bringing them inside in the fall?

Hey greendragon. How deep did you amend the soil for your agave planting? Also what mix of organics and inorganics did you use? Thanks in advance!
