Talk about finding the right person at the right time. Liked and subscribed. My band has been trying to figure out this next step for distributing music and Distrokid was the only place I even knew/had heard about during the last 12 months. Started doing some research and ended up here. Great content/video and I really appreciate the knowledge. Looking forward to that live stream tomorrow because I'm not entirely sure my band has any interest in making money with our music right now. But I don't wanna be stupid and miss out on an opportunity to make money if somehow the music became profitable. Keep up the good work PUNM!

We were users of Distrokid for the past 5 years. Yesterday (5/8/2021) they removed ALL our tracks from ALL platforms. No prior notice or heads up. After we contacted them, they replied that it happened “due to limitations under US sanction laws" and "DistroKid is unable to provide any services, payments, or refunds” and that we need to “try another distributor”.
We are legal residents of the US. We pay the same taxes as US citizens and follow all rules and regulations. The discrimination level is outrageous. Having your voice cut for no reason is a nightmare for an artist. @/bandistrokid

One of the major problems with this digital distributor is they consider the collaboration between two artists as one artist name. If you collaborate with many artists you'll end upgrading your account to label without getting a refund on the previous plan. This issue is not reported in reviews yet, I highly reccomend it as a topic and I am available for more information and details and even a testimonial ! I am actively looking for a better distributor for collaborations so I can stop putting my collaborators as featured artists which deprives my projects for being shown on the collaborators' pages and their fans' radars !!

Thank you very much bro. I love your work and appreciate. However I have a couple of questions,
1. It means after signing up my songs with lets say Tunecore and BMI, I don't need Songtrust or sound exchange in this case?
2. How come I see some artists when they use both Ascap and BMI at the same time on a particular song on Youtube? Because I thought it had to only be one. Thank you.
