As a teenager, I listened to this song so much in 1993 that I wore the tape out. Karl please rest and remember that your heart and soul continues to live with your music❤️🙏🏻

Karl is one of those songwriters like Jeff Lynne who makes his verses so catchy and then somehow the hook is even better. What a talent.

I only heard of World Party yesterday when I clicked on a Letterman performance Dave's channel posted in tribute. I'm just bummed I hadn't heard of Karl sooner. This song is amazing.

Whenever i want to remember my true self i listen to Goodbye Jumbo. So sad to learn of Karl's passing. A real genius with a beautiful heart.

Pretty sure I was the only 7th grader in my tiny Midwest town that listened to World Party. This song has always been special to me. And hearing it now, floods me with memories of an awkward kid who thought way too much. I miss her. ❤️

He used to look like John Lennon, now he's Ray Manzerek ! Bless the guy, distinctive great voice, and top songwriter.

Guy survived an aneurysm. This is a testament to show others that life can continue and will continue. Wonderful he’s still doing things he loves and enjoys

This song is still as beautifully relevant today as it was the first time I heard it.

Wallinger was/is so underrated. I remember in the original video he was playing an upside down acoustic a la Cobain as he is left handed. Incidentally, I always found this song very philosophical, so the Bertrand Russell reference was most agreeable.

This‘ what i‘d consider the most gracefully written words in newer music history. Bravo mr. Wallinger 🫶🙌

Rest in peace. Bought this cd April 1993. What a wonderful concept the entire thing.
