Ah man. That first one was a rollercoaster almost there and not much left to go. That LCD ribbon was a mess, was that from a bad job on the previous repair?
Looking forward to the reball on the second one, things like that blow my mind on how detailed you can get. Way beyond me.
Awesome as always. 👍👍

You can actually remove the back light from the lcd with a bit heat and plastic tools. Then you can use the back light from a switch with broken lcd for example

If you pressed down on a ram chip for the BSOD and the screen showed the Nintendo symbol, would that mean you need to reball that chip?

Hi mate, really like your content. Question had a charging port repaired on a switch, charges ok but can't connect to TV no, was told by supposedly engineer that once charging port is replaced on switch you lose ability to connect to TV. Can you help. Thanks

Hi Mate,

Hope to see more videos like this, keep up the content as they are great.

Have a question concerning some nintendo switch problems, did you encounter any problems when you repair a switch, you boot up normaly but when you charge the switch you will get a X sign near the battery icon on the switch and a msg saying it can not charge.
What is the problem or what can be the problem with this?

Thanks Mate.

Got a Xbox related question, power issue, started out where I’d power it on it would almost instantly turn back off but if I clicked the power on a few times it would stay on, worked for months then now no power at all, power supply ruled out began testing, all mofsets measured good proceeded to measure the cylinder shaped 2.5 resistors and 3 test bad at 175ohm’s and one other at 66 ohms but want to verify I’m not missing something here and that it is normal and I can’t find anywhere on here where you’ve genuinely found a bad resistor especially this many, is my testing correct and they are bad or possibly something else

Hi there @TheCod3r, I have a random issue with my Nintendo Switch (Original) I've not come across before. If I leave the battery on charge over night or if I properly shut it down it won't boot unless I remove the battery and re-plug it in. It all works fine otherwise and no overheating issues. As I forget once every week or so about it I only leave 5 screws in that I need to take out to get to the battery. If it's something simple I'd like to sort it or at least find the area I should be looking at to find a component that ain't 100%. Any help you could give me would be much appreciated. The only thing I ever did with it was put a new battery inside of it but that still holds a charge properly and doesn't get hot whilst on charge or whilst gaming. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out.
