Recreate file distribution folder did the trick for me. I have a relatively new Surface Pro 7 with very few apps installed, so I was reluctant to use the cmd prompt thinking how could something like have gone wrong already. But it worked, and I'm happy. thank you!

Can you make a video on how to fix firmware not updating. Like when you have updated it through windows updates but when you restart it doesn't update and everytime you restart you just get a notification you need to restart to finish setting up this device
