24 hours eating street food in Greece to try the delicious dishes on this country during my stay in Crete Islan. What to try in Greece? For Breakfast one of the most popular dishes from Greece is Strapatsada, of course you have to try greek street food and try the famous gyros, for lunch a moussaka and greek salad and chicken souvlaki and for dessert the bougatsa which is very delicious, traditional and sweet!

We have good Greek food here in Chicago. eg: Chicken Souvlaki with tzatziki sauce, Gyros, mousakka, calamari & chips etc . I'm sure they have greek restaurant in Caracas.

I can recommend more "niche" spots to visit if you ever come again. there's lots of hidden gems in the villages far away from the cities, with unique food like "kapriko" which is a kind of pork cut cooked in a wood oven in a specific process which takes a lot of hours.

Ι'm Greek and I haven't seen a full pita gyros for 2 euros the last 10-15 years. Maybe you've mistaken something in a menu.

Although according to our minimum wage the gyros should cost less than 2 euros

Traditional food here are with different and many vegetables ..meat souvlas kokoretsi kontosouvli panseta lab chops antikristo ...mousaka is different from a home maid..gemista ntolmadakia pastitsio ...so many different food...you must eat from many villages and houses to understand the difference and the tastiness of every unique food
