Uvalde police officer fired amid outrage from parents

A recently-hired police officer has been fired by the Uvalde school district, after body camera footage appeared to show her telling fellow officers at Robb Elementary the day of the massacre that “If my son had been in there, I would not have been outside.”

Every criminal and cartel member saw what happened in Uvalde and thought "that's where we should be headquartered since their is no threat of law enforcement whatsoever". The tragedy at Uvalde should’ve taught everyone one simple thing: you are your own first responder. You can’t count on the police or EMS to come to the rescue. Carry a gun and medical equipment on your person every time you leave your house; there’s no such thing as just a milk run.

Get professional training and then train consistently thereafter. Life and death situations are not a spectator sport. Take your own life, and the life of your family, into your own hands.

As a law enforcement officer, this was embarrassing, I would have ran in and I don’t even live in Texas. I know what I signed up for. And then for her to say, if her kid was in there she would have ran in, was WRONG. Honestly, her certification should be suspended indefinitely. RIP to those babies…
