Contingency Tables , Independent Events, and Chi-Square

In this video I discuss what a contingency table is and how to perform a hypothesis test using a contingency table.
The idea is that we are trying to determine if two categorical variables are independent or not based on observed data and expected counts of that data.
I use a real life example and show many of the computations involved.
