Good stuff. For people that want to deep dive how this works, check the Intersection Observer API.

Why tf isn't your channel blowing up ? This is probably the best front end dev channel on YouTube.

I use js scroll functions to detect if the user is browsing then call the ajax function to load the necessary sources in a particular container.

Always enjoy your vidoes, just FYI, next time just disable the browser cache to reload assets from the source. Thank you for explaining things in detail, I always learn something new from your videos.

Can this be used on a static HTML/CSS website, and not one made w a static site gen. like Gatsby? Many modern ssg's are very JS heavy, and the site I have is not. Its just an HTML template and I have it deployed on Netlify. Would this still work? Or do you recommend your latest video on native lazy loading instead?

This is awesome! How do I animate images in a gallery after the images are loaded using CSS and Jquery or Javascript with a class of 'Loaded'? That is, to avoid the stripping effect that happens when large images are loading on a slow connection. Thanks.

Cool stuff, but I think Chrome is adding native support for this soon :-D

It doesn't work for injected elements, for example if I inject an image with ajax it doesn't work. Is there a way to achieve that?

can this be used easily on a simple html/css/js website, that's not built on node.js or react?
