I've had both of the ones in your thumb. The Sandisk failed and is unusable, the Crucial is still going strong. So I can give the Crucial a personal recommendation, albeit anecdotally.

It is actually pretty common to have usb 3.2 gen 2x2 port i have it on my msi z590a pro board and with i5 11400 I'm getting consistently transfer speeds on 1.4 gb/s with my crucial x10 pro 4tb
