What is the difference between microblading and powder brows? Why I don't do microblading

I DON'T do microblading, I only do powder eyebrows! To understand why I'm against microblading, keep reading!

Difference between permanent powder eyebrows and microblading:

🔸️powder brows are created with a fine needle, microblading is created with a small blade

🔸️powder brows imitate tinted look, or like you have filled your brows with a pencil, microblading imitate hair stroke effect

🔸️powder brows produce great results on any skin type, microblading is only suitable for younger, dry and normal skin. It does NOT produce good results on oily, porous, thick or mature skin

🔸️powder brows are a gentle to the skin technique and does not leave scarring when performed correctly, microblading often leaves scarring because slicing the skin creates too much trauma and skin struggles to recover and heal properly

🔸️powder brows can achieve both super natural and more defined look, microblading can not produce stronger brow look

That's why I DON'T do microblading! While it often looks great straight after the treatment, very often fine strokes blur after some time looking like either thick lines, or a messy blob of colour. Combined with likely scarring, microblading is not something I would like to offer or recommend to my clients.
