Jealousy and envy are traits of a hater

The ball hadn't been inbounded yet. Not a basketball play.

Carter not being able to answer CC questions is all you need to know.

Weak people take cheap shots. Anyone can lay someone out when they're not looking. Gutless.

That’s bullying, plain and simple. Kids watch these games.

It wasn’t a hard foul, it was a Flagrant and dangerous foul!!! Stop saying Clark deserved it by jawing and talking, making excuses for a thug is BS and you all know

That's abuse. Wake up refs and make the right calls. Do your job.

The ball not even being in the hands of either player or up for grabs makes this shove blatant violence and unsportsperson like conduct. That ref. who treated it like a common foul should also receive disciplinary action.
That was a flagrant rat move.

Carter not verbally backing her premeditated full of hatred actions has proven her to be a weak minded human.
Props to Caitlin showing way more class after the outcome.

And if on your program you are dismissive of conduct like Carter's, you legitimize the premise that rookies should just expect and accept behavior like Carter's. That makes you part of the problem, not part of the solution. Conduct like Carter's just should not be tolerated.

It’s not physicality, it’s poor sportsmanship. There’s a reason the WBNA hasn’t had higher viewership and this is it. Caitlin has handled this and everything else with professionalism and grace. I’m a new viewer and if this is “welcome to the WNBA, ” I’m not staying. You want more fans and money in the league, become more positive. Have it be a sport mom’s want their girls to watch. Compare and contrast to the WNSL.

I think Angel Reese getting off the bench and cheering for her teammate when this happened says all you need to know about her.

people are talking about it now, but not because the game has improved. They are talking about it because it's blatant. People will soon tune out if this is what we are going to see.

Carter is a hater.
And that's gonna come back to her and cry victim.
Notice how Clark didn't cry victim because she keeps it real and kept it professional in the post game interview.

So many levels to this one incident: for starters it wasn’t a basketball play and there should have been a flagrant called. Didn’t happen. Reese cheering on her teammate after the incident? Not a good look. Kennedy not addressing it in the media session? Not a good look. Weatherspoon saying “that’s enough” during media session to media? Not a good look. Fever playing 11 games in 20 days while the Vegas Aces only playing 6? Another bad look. You have a transcendent player that you’re going to burn into the ground to make a quick buck, but do NOTHING to ensure the long-term success of CC, her team (which is awful), and the league as a whole. You wanted eyes on this sport, but now that you have them, you need to deal with the good AND the bad. Right now — it doesn’t look like the league is handling ANY of it well. Why does this league have a commissioner? From what I’ve seen so far, she’s been MIA as well.

Robin, come on… you know that was not only a “cheap shot”, it was an intentional, blindside attack! That should never be tolerated in any professional sport.
