I’m super excited to share my adventures in the land down under with you guys! My first stop was one of my favorite groups of ants: Myrmecia! Myrmecia or “Bulldog” ants are among some of the largest and most venomous ants on the planet. They inhabit the vast majority of Australia preying on insects and other small animals. Their sting, although about as painful as a bullet ant’s, only lasted an hour. It was certainly an interesting experiment! Be sure to like, share, comment, and subscribe!

As a gardener, I can vouch that these ants are TRULY FEARLESS.
They will try to attack the spinning cord of a line trimmer, even when it's doing 1000+ rpm.
These creature's wake up and choose violence EVERY DAY!

Bizarre to see an ant behaving just like a small creature would, apprehension, backing up, maneuvering it's body position, tracking you and remaining in a defensive position. I expect this from a small animal but not an ant. Crazy.

The amount of "Harassing" you need to do to get stung is crazy. And even after and you pick her up again and she does not sting you again should speak volumes.
