Just imagine, when she goes on hospice or whenever she is about to die, all her patients she’s ever saw just come to bring her into the after life, she’d have hundreds of people there for her

She is not lying when she said she will always be thinking of them. I was a CNA when I did hospice home visits, and I remember each of my patients that died and their family.

My parents are pushing 80. Been married since 1967. Together since 1962. And met when they were 14. Mom couldn't stand him. Cock arrogant. Dad is having issues with health. And my momma is right there. Helping. Just like the vows they took❤❤❤

So, not about death, but your skit says to please tell Tonya how much we appreciate her. My name is Tonya and I've been helping take care of my elderly parents, along with working full-time and taking care of a little one with special needs. Hearing that made me feel appreciated! Thank you for all you do!

My dad just died a week ago. I figured if I could just be angry at him forever, I wouldn’t have to grieve. But I can’t stay angry - he was the greatest dad ever. Miss you, Dad.

How heartbreaking that on the same day she loses her husband she also loses you, her new friend

Nooo.. you got me teary eyed. Its the words.. “I miss you both already” and “see you later from the both of us….” it resonates with me. I lost my partner Danny 2019 and my dad 2020.

I can’t imagine all the incredibly valuable lessons you learned from these wise folks. They’ve lived so much.

I love how old people are just so pure, my dad lives in a nursing home and when we visit him every one in the halls always say hi or how are you it absolutely melts my heart ❤️

Edit: btw the nurses there sucked lol

You're videos are the best! They remind me there are compassionate people left in the world. My dad has Parkinson's and had declined since being hospitalized for sepsis from a UTI. The staff at his rehab facility just seems so uncaring and we are currently trying to find a better fit. Thank you for demonstrating what quality care should look like!

you are amazing... I don't do this work but I clean for a living. I have lost 7 clients to age, and I usually am there just days prior and always feel it coming. I spend time, do their nails, hair, dishes, laundry, whatever they need, bandages..etc. Just be real. It's so important. you are such a sweet soul

“I miss you both already” just broke my heart. So did “I’ll never forget either of you” 😢

This made me tear up thinking about my grandparents when they passed about 2 years ago and were in care too ❤ I remember my grandma called me right before she passed just hours later to tell me she loved me and I could hear the struggle in her voice due to a breathing tube but she spoke with all the strength she had left to tell me that

I have lesrned SOOO much from my home healthcare and hospice patients. Their wisdom and experiences are truly amazing and i just love all my patients. When my hospice patient of 2.5 years passed, her family had a beautiful custom angel made to attach onto her casket. Before lowering it down to the ground, they took the angel off, handed it to me and said "For our Moms Angel" . I look at it every single day and think of her.

You’re just the best ever! Thank you so much for normalizing death, seeing the goodness in every human being, and for your advocacy of “a good death” not just for your patient, but for their families, too. You are a blessing and your work is absolutely essential to all of us. ❤

My brother died in November and I read your book recently and it was such a comfort to me. Your impact is spreading further than your pregnant teen self in that sermon could've ever imagined. Thank you.

I lost two brother's last year one February 19 just a day before my 70th birthday, the other one December 29th of last year. I never net the hospice staff but was told how wonderful they were.😢😢. I have read her book and passed it on. A beautiful read, a must read.
