Nice My cable is getting corroded at the end behind the terminal so this will save me from having to get charged over $1OO at the shop.

You should do more videos like this where they question you afterwards but in reality what they're questioning was fabricated just for the video to get people to comment without realizing it was purposely done.

Thanks, this should work for me. My car died the other day in the parking lot of a Dollar General, I have AAA but it took 43 hours to get a tow. When I got it home I swapped out the battery with one I had in another car, when clamping it down on the post the thing split in 2 it was so corroded, I would have just cut the cable and bought a new clamp but the cables in my car are so short that wouldn't work. Been trying to figure out the last few hours what to do and I am thinking this is the best option.

Here where I live scrap yards are being pressured by city and county agencies along with police to require photo ID to be on record for people bringing in catalytic converters and copper. The local officials are even talking about pulling scrap yards operating permits if they get caught buying them without keeping track of who's bringing them in.Theft is getting out of hand here too and they said requiring ID at the scrap yards would help slow it down. But there's still to many ways to get away with it.

I would have liked to see a cleaner and more secure way to connect that second cable. I don’t think it will last long. But the owner has bigger problems with his stolen “Cadillac” converter

That is a nice video until you spliced the wires together there’s a much more proper way to do it

1:15 What happens if my wires are too big to fit in the connector?

I would not go to this guy, leaving the wire’s just twisted together like that and handing the car back to a customer is SOOOO WRONG!!!! He should of put simple ring connectors on and put heat shrink over it.
That’s literally a FIRE WAITING TO HAPPEN. Yeah it’s simple and would maybe get you home in a jam but employing someone to fix your car like this is just fukin dangerous!!!!

Man I’m sorry, but never in your life “twist” two 6g wires together and leave them bare in your car. Think about this: spark.. fuel leak. Goodbye car.
