Part 3 in the P-51 Mustang Series is a walkthrough of the P-51 cockpit.

Sweeping left to right through the cockpit, this walkthrough will give you an idea of what the P-51cockpit is like, and maybe just how little room there really is in a WW2 Warbird! Some of the controls have been altered to comply with modern aviation laws but its still very much an orgianl 1944 P-51 Mustang Cockpit!

Another well done and educational video! I love all of the manual controls that the PILOT had to manage at the same time. No auto pilot or computer-aided assistance. It makes me think of today's young automobile drivers who can't operate a manual transmission. No self-parking here! The Louisiana Kid, once again, shows us how talented those P-51 pilots were. Looking forward to the in-flight video! I'm so happy for you that you get to have that experience. Once again, great work!

0:54 Small correction. The bag on the left all the way back is not for a first aid kit. It was used to keep the flare gun cartridges, just like it says above the bag.

Did spot one error if I'm not mistake, regarding the elevator trim position. Usually a little nose down for take-off, not up.

Where is the heater for the cockpit? You would freeze to death wearing those clothes alone.
