The fact #1 is partially wrong. Ukraine is the biggest country in Europe with its every border belonging to Europe. If we exclude the part with borders being only in Europe, then Russia is the biggest country in Europe, for its European side stretches from the Gulf of Finland to the Ural mountains, with the area between being quite big ;)
