Early spring small river canoe travel w/ Esquif Echo

I tried out the solo canoe on the same river that I explored with Phoebe last year. It was great fun in the spring melt. Easily 10 times as long going up to going down. Be safe out there if you choose to venture out in the early season. Wear warm clothing, dress for the swim and bring an extra outfit in a waterproof back. Scout, and scout some more! Next time I'll be bringing my new canoe pole.

That was a great video - something I'd do. Your footage actually had me ducking under branches. Where is it?

I have to ask right away...what removable portage yoke is that? I have the same canoe and I can't seem to find a good yoke. Thanks for this video!

I am debating between this and the Adirondack. Did you look at both models as well?

Would you recommend the echo for backcountry tripping, specifically Algonquin park? Lakes as large as booth and right down to the smaller. I’ve also been looking at the swift Prospector 14, wondering if the echo would compare well to it.
