"The Batman" is one of the more information-dense blockbusters in recent memory. After all, there's a lot of plot to cover in its nearly three-hour runtime. It needs to introduce a new Batman, a new Gotham City, a new status quo for our favorite Caped Crusader, and find ways to subvert audience expectations all the while. I remember when I was in my seat watching the beginning of this movie and when I saw that bat signal go up my heart was pounding I was absolutely terrified for the criminals out there which I know you shouldn't be but the presence of the Batman in this movie was terrifying I couldn't believe that was Robert Pattinson

This movie actually focuses on the noir aspect of Batman which truly is the most important aspects of Batman.

The opening of the film was chilling and exciting. The action pieces were kinetic and inventive. The acting in the film was excellent. I liked the moody, dark Gotham. And I was all in on the detective mystery premise BUT the payoff kind of fell flat for me. I was hoping there would be more suspense and tension as we got more clues but we were just picking up breadcrumbs and not really getting a proper buildup to what should have been a major dramatic climax. Instead the trajectory goes up but comes back down immediately for more set up. Honestly, the placement of some of the scenes were a bit confusing. Still worth a watch, especially on the big screen. That car chase was 🔥

I genuinely want to see Scarecrow for the sequel, I loved the Batman Begins one which was brilliant- and I think that he’ll be terrifying and hopefully more scary than The Riddler, the horror aspects were great in The Batman and it’ll be cool to see the horror aspect as one of the main parts of the sequel if they make it

one of the most adrenaline rush moments in the film is when Batman glides off that building.

I think this film does a great job at establishing Gotham as its own character. It’s dark, gritty and corrupts every person that lives in it. Even Bruce. By far the best reiteration of the city we’ve seen so far! Ofc this is my opinion. :)

The only thing that’s really confused me about the plot is how The Riddler even knew all that he knew. I’m not sure it ever quite explained that, and no video seems to touch on it.

The movie isn't confusing, such a movie played out in a brilliant way, that challenges the mind. The Batman is a unique comic book film, unlike anything I've seen in the genre, as if related to live action films.

I’m so glad that this movie was dark and not a kids movie like how most people see Batman, he is not a kids characters it was so a good, dark movie that I absolutely loved in so glad that they went in this direction in the movie

Don't want a new take on joker. If anything it's sad that phoenixs joker won't interact with pattinsons batman, but honestly I'm fine with that. Would love to see the spotlight on someone else

Its kind of a nice scene in the very beginning but knowing how to tell the difference the second time before were shown is even better cuz bruce covers his breath making known that much more stealthier
