I've come to the point where I will vote against Republicans simply for guilt by association. Even in local, minor elections. The fact that any level of public figure has the nerve to put an (R) after their name after the absolute corruption and exploitation of this administration of a system I believed in has tainted them to the point of no return. I used to believe their were checks and balances in place to prevent this kind of gross abuse of the system. I was so completely wrong it hurts. At least I can thank Trump for blowing the lid off that one for me.

What baffles me is why the Dems aren't going ballistic over Pruitt's spending. Pruitt should be tried and convicted for what he has done. And that bloody Icahn should be in prison - why wasn't he put on trial and sent to prison?

Icahn is 72 years old. And yet apparently he still has a burning desire to become richer. What is the point? What is getting more wealth for, at this point? To still be a "player"? To have more power? Just to distract himself from the passage of time? Because it is the thing in life he most enjoys? He must think he is doing good by doing well, because otherwise it just seems obsessive, bordering on monstrous. EDIT: Timbone points out in his reply below that Icahn is actually 82, not 72!

Great explanation of the crookedness that our country has to deal with. Politicians take advantage of their positions. So not fair to the people paying for all of this. Rachel always does a fantastic job.
