Minecraft Launcher Not Installing On Windows PC

In this video, I will be showing you how to fix an issue with not being able to download Minecraft launcher from the Microsoft Store on your Windows PC or laptop. The methods in this video will also fix not being able to install Minecraft Launcher in the MS Store as well as any other Minecraft games. So if the Minecraft Launcher keeps getting stuck when download or installing this is how you can hopefully resolve the problem.

I've been trying to install Java Edition for my daughter for about 2 hours now. I ended up installing the Windows 7/8 .msi installer instead of the Windows 10/11 .exe. Seems to be working ok!

Edit: If it is useful to anyone, my problem of the launcher not starting has been resolved with the method that starts at 4.00
(updating all the apps from the microsoft store)

Thanks! I had been able to install Preview but not regular Bedrock (was stuck on "Idle" when trying to download) and it was driving me crazy. I had tried a bunch of things, and I did the troubleshooter (found nothing), then windows store repair+reset, then the powershell script. One of these did the trick, now all my user accounts on the computer can install. Thank you!!!

For me it just says pending install and it doesnt work it's been like this for a while. Any methods for this?

IF YOU ARE USING WINDOWS 10 AND WANT TO DOWNLOAD THE MINECRAFT LAUNCHER THEN JUST DOWNLOAD THE WINDOWS 7/8 VERSION. IT WORKS ON WINDOWS 10 AND ISN'T COMPLETELY USELESS LIKE THE WINDOWS 10/11 LAUNCHER!

When I try to install minecraft either on play store or the laucher it just freezes and I cant do anything with it unless end it with task manager
