My step dad who I considered more like my real dad was a trucker for practically all of his life(he told us all a story about how the first time he drove a semi was when he was 15 and his dad wasn't too pleased about it) but only started a few months or years after he came home from fighting in Vietnam between '65-69. I always wondered how he slept in his truck given the fact he'd be away for five days to a week at a time. He asked me when I was 11 or 12 if I wanted to come along with him when he was doing a haul. Told me a hell of a lot of "interesting" stories of his time since at that point he'd been driving for 45-50 years. Took some time getting used to it while he on the other hand obviously seemed more like he was more comfortable sleeping in there than at home. Hell he was so experienced and reliable that he was the one guy that his bosses knew that if someone for whatever reason wasn't available but he was, they could go to him; he wouldn't even give it a second thought especially since he'd be getting a bonus for doing it. He passed in 2016 when I was 17. He might've not been an internet person in the slightest, but I got the feeling that he would've enjoyed seeing some of your videos if he was Alex

The idea of doing this is the coolest thing to me. I like the feeling of independence and having your own little area in the back of a truck seems so cool. I’m not a truck person by any means but I’ve slept/stayed in a trailer a few times and it gets pretty cozy
