Hello and welcome to WePC Benchmarks, today we are taking look at the Ryzen 5 5600G RAM speed benchmark. This APU is about to be released on August 5th so we take a look at how well it holds up in gaming and productivity, but how will the RAM frequency affect the performance.

**UPDATE** Please ignore the VRAM usage on our overlay. We've done some additonal testing this morning and discovered that the sensor we use to test this was only pulling data from the VRAM and not the additional RAM usage. The 5600G is limited to 512mb VRAM, however, it does use additional system RAM to deliver better graphics and a higher frame rate and although this additional usage isn't displayed within the overlay it was still happening as an automatic background process. The other overlay read outs are all correct, it's just VRAM usage that is incorrect.

I was worried 'cause I only got 2 of 8Gb up to 3000Mhz and... Nah isn't a lot of difference, I can play in 60fps only and that's ok for me

3200 looks good enough. And the best temperature.

most of those cases are with the iGPU being the limiting factor, while in CSGO and Rainbow Six it was the CPU, and you could clearly see the effect of RAM speeds there, I would like to see this test re-done but paired with a much higher GPU, for an scenario where performance falls on the CPU, which really is where it shows the difference of the speeds

odd how the 3200Mhz ram seemed to offer the best 1% and 0.1% fps? in the first few games.

even with 3400mhz it’s a struggle, i can’t believe i spend time and money on this cpu on a 3070ti. idk what i was thinking

Bro i have same cpu and having driver timeout problem with amd driver(windows driver is okay, but cant play game with it 9fps). Do you know any solution for this problem? Or have any idea?

I have an MSI B550 Pro-DASH which only goes up to 3000MHz if I change the frequency on Ryzen Master, can I increase it to 3200MHz?
