I have both, my opinion is MSFS better for scenery however I prefer the game engine and flight models in X-Plane.

since msfs 2020 i started to fly gliders, never stopped, even bought VR for it. You just have to try it, my first love was Xplane 11, then i bought Xplane 12 and after i tried it 2 times i said hard no. And now is FS 2024 at the corner, oh Jeeez. I love Zibo, and Aerosoft and u name it but... damn, when you see where you are flying is just another world. I mean all the airports bought for Xplane 11 are just there in FS.. In FS try to land an ATR, there are some physics :) TFFJ, AYTI (Tapini), NZMF, VQPR, BIIS, LFLJ, VNLK etc, all the airports/fields are just there, in Xplane 11 we had to buy them and now FS 2024 will come with physics as in Xplane and with a career mode. What i don't understand is why the sim producers don't work together? I mean Austin Meyer with Jorg Neumann. They really need to drink a coffee together. They share the same world and same users. We as users need perfection. And we thank them for what are they doing. They made a dream to come true. I use flight simulators since 1998 (FS98).
