Hey! thanks for watching! My name is Mitch and I live in Central South Carolina. I started off mainly talking about weather specifically for South Carolina but have now expanded to the entire US. I am not a Meteorologist, I am just a guy that is passionate about weather, and that loves sharing what I know with others! I also love chasing extreme weather. I have a playlist on my channel with numerous chase videos.

I am very active on Twitter & Facebook:

I'm praying we don't get it here in Texas. I don't think I have the strength to deal with this. I don't want to see anyone have to go through another storm. This season seems to just give nobody a break.

Morning Gamecock, hope you’re having a lovely day so far. If the GFS is true then this reminds me of Ian if I’m not mistaken, because if I remember correctly the Southeast got fall weather behind Ian and it was in the upper 60’s if my memory serves me right without looking at the analytics. That’s why I’m taking this weekend and putting up our summer clothes, and taking out our fall and winter clothes. A few years back, I invested into a zip lock clothing bag that once you fill the clothes in the bag, you use your vacuum cleaner and suck out the air and it compacts perfectly. The best investment I’ve ever made. It looks like next weekend will be bad weather, thanks Mitch and great job

Until an actual system forms there is no way to know and complete conjecture where it actually forms up and then tracks. Fun exercise I suppose but for those of us in the northern Gulf Coast, def gotta watch

SWFL here and I’m paying alot of attention to this disturbance. This is reminding me alot of Hurricane Ian which ironically will be exactly 2 years to the date. You mention in one of the models of dry air “cold front” which pushed Ian directly into SWFL. I remember the day right after Ian it actually felt really nice in terms of fall like temps. Which was a blessing since we didn’t have electricity for a week so being without AC wasn’t as bad. 🤞

Thanks for the coverage Mitch! Sorry you have a couple people who find anything to complain about in the comments. You're doing a good job. 👍🏻

I’ve always been fascinated with storm paths, what steers them and model guides. With this storm I’ve started recording the 5 different models you show us each day and how they change paths and predicted millibars at landfall. I think it will be interesting see. Thank you for teaching us daily. People can’t be interested in something they dont understand, and that’s why your channel stands out!!
