I don't see any kind of gyre or spinning low in the Caribbean basin or gulf of Mexico that shows any sign of developing into a tropical storm by Tuesday.
At most, there is an organized low spinning in the Pacific off of Acapulco . If a hurricane is gonna hit the Gulf of Mexico this weekend, it's going to have to get going as fast as Otis did last year.
