this is a sales funnel not a tier list.

Guy decides to make tier list video, 50% of the video promotes skool, then adds it to god tier, then throws his skool affiliate link pinned comment. Most ironically thinks that we are stupid and don’t know what is going on here

Personally i think Udemy is around A and B tier because the courses are pretty cheap and well made for viewers

The comparison you made is completely nonsensical from my perspective. Comparing platforms like Udemy and Skool to platforms like Kajabi/Teachable/Thinkific is completely illogical.

On platforms like Udemy/Skool, you don't promote your brand, but simply place your courses in a marketplace. Kajabi, Thinkific, etc., are platforms where you have control over everything.

In my opinion, it's a completely biased comparison.

When looking at Skool - You were refering to "all the other software" that other platforms would require/ ammounting to 500-1000 a month, what are these additional softwares are you referring to?

School is so simple I don't even know what it does other than charging me $99 a month

Why no breakdown or pros & cons of thinkific?

Skool makes no sense.

No PayPal support
No tiered subscriptions
No Video Hosting
Just to name a few key missing features...Theres a lot more.

Hey,
I think you didint consider a very important thing which is if the platform has an app and users could watch the course over their phone

I love Udemy... I have taken classes on Udemy & I believe they should be on the B Tier.

A dislike would have been obtained from Me. You down-look the others to promote skool for referral benefits. Like really realy! well no like from me

I use coursera most of the time because their specializations are more serious than isolated courses, and they are associated with big name universities or companies that stand out on a resume. That being said though, it's courses aren't that great. It's mostly just sitting in front of a video with powerpoint slides and then an easy multiple choice quiz. Occasionally there are Capstone projects that give you something very close to real world experience though and these are then peer reviewed between students so passing them isn't meaningless. It depends on a lot on which specific specialization you pick.

Can anyone tell me What challenges do you face when building and managing e-learning websites and What features you wish existing platforms had?

Question:

I am a professional dancer and have multiple online master classes with recorded video, live discussions, quizzes and exams...

Which platform would you recommend? There are video examples IN my presentations... :) My students are all over the world!

Any advise would be great!

The fact that *where course videos are hosted* was never mentioned anywhere in this video pretty much invalidates it.

What other critical nuances are being swept under the rug if something that significant was never discussed.

Skool & LearnDash both force you to use an external video host which is a HORRIBLE experience as a course developer.

Kajabi also hosts externally, but there is an integration, so it happens behind the scenes and feels very native.

This was a great video. Thank you for the info. Have you used Go High Level? If yes what are your thoughts? If no why not?
