Pariah Nexus is $190 CDN; I just can't come to grips with having to pay that much, but I might get one of the new scenery kits

Handy thing I saw on reddit: the different ammo type boxes will fit in and stay in place just with friction, so you don't need to glue them and can swap them as and when you need, it's a nice touch for sure, not sure how it works on the Heavy bolter though, I tried it with one ammo type and wasn't convinced - there was a bit more give/ gapping, so I glued that in.

Long-time listener, first time caller here.

First things first, congratulations on reaching the 40k subs milestone. Keep up the quality work!

But now let's get down to business....I want to think of this as something of a PSA perhaps so i hope this helps.

I am not shall we say well versed in all things necron but i do come from an orky background....so all this scenery....i kinda have this idea that with a bit of work you could build monoliths or any of those more angular pyramid shaped units necrons use if you used plasticard or even lengths of sprue to make the wall sections plus perhaps some leftover warrior guns and whatnot plus all these terrain bits that look like thrusters or power suppliers hatches or emperor knows what.

Anyways just some food for thought to the more enterprising necron enthusiasts out there. Hope it inspires some cool conversions.

P.s. this set is still total BS for what it costs so the aforementioned is under the assumption that you got the terrain second-hand or in some other way...and if you did pay full price for it to help perhaps make your money go further. GW is seriously in dire need of the community finding ways to outsmart them and use their own kits against them if you ask me lol

as much as people complain about GW, the models are pretty high quality and so we keep buying

I think they will sell the heavy intercessors at £50, because gravis armoured minis are generally £10ish each. Plus we've also got centurion devastators at a similar price point so it's not unheard of. I hope I am wrong but I just feel like they will be £50.

Really odd release this. Are the 2 kill-teams in the box even well matched?
Going to have to wait until Monday for mine to arrive.
Actually enjoy a bit of Kill Team but that terrain looks boring and board limiting.
Such a shame given how awesome the Warcry and Necromunda scenery was.
