Dr Bob. I really enjoyed this interview with Mr Jassir. What a well spoken intelligent guest. This topic hits very close to home because my daughter is a pediatrician who did not (thankfully) get into Harvard. Instead she graduated at the very top of her class at BU Med and isn't part of any this insanity.

I don’t think it’s even so much about over representation as it is in numbers. If one group is only 10% of the entire US population, it’s only logical that they would have as many numbers as the majority population. If 10% had forced equal representation as the majority population then it’s unfair and disproportional.

In addition, if the majority of applicants are male then it’s unfair to knock out the qualified males and let all the females in just to make it equal. Again it’s about numbers.

People have to look at the numbers. The opportunity should be equal to everyone. The standards and expectations the same for all. And then let the chips naturally fall into place.
