UPDATED Polestar 2 Upsets Supercars... on the Nürburgring!

Earlier this year I was able to exprience Polestar 2. A great all-round EV and impressive performance DNA. There were two issues back then: the car was on winter tyres, which is not the best scenario for a race track. And the car was overheating halfway through the lap, which was not an ejoyable exprience. Polestar team worked hard with the feedback I gave them and created something special... something that I want.

I love this guy. Engineer calling Polestar - I found a test driver. Polestar - How much is he going the charge us? Engineer - Almost nothing he just wants to record it for You Tube and an order of pancakes. Polestar - Testing budget approved.

Such a fan of the Polestar brand! They are effectively the logical followup on the crazy 850r, s60r, v70r, s60 Polestar and such Volvos in a time where big turbocharged 5 (6) cylinders are no longer allowed. Might not have the noise of a 5 cylinder but a slightly more social city car. Polestar 2 or Polestar precept is probably going to be my next car. So why they make them? Because idiots like me love them!

From 97% to 62% in one lap. We'll need a lot more regeneration before we will see an electric endurance race on the Nordschleife. Can't wait to see what happens once the Porsche Mission R enters the scene.
