The polestar 2 performance package does absolutely nothing to acceleration. I feel this is an important note to make. It adds brakes and analog suspension dampers. It's not claiming to be the fastest version of the polestar 2.

Well we already know the result so why’s this even a thing 😆. Also you also have the slowest version of the polestar 2 because there is only one model. Yes you can have a performance pack but it doesn’t add speed

Why are you comparing Tesla Model 3 Performance to the Polestar 2 Performance? Polestar 2 Performance doesn't have a single HP more than the non-Performance model. You should compare the TM3 non-performance to the Polestar 2 (performance / non-performance).

Actually not the fastest version of the Polestar, the "Performance" pack doesn't actually add any extra power. In fact it probably slows down the car with the larger wheels if anything.

Why does nobody compare the standard non performance AWD model versus the polestar 2?? They are more equal in performance, although Tesla will still likely win.

After trying both cars I went for the model 3 performance. My reasons are simple. I thought id hate the model 3 minimalistic interior but after just driving it for an hour at the dealership and getting back into my audi and the polestar 2 everything just felt so cluttered. There was too much stuff in there so litlle space. So the model 3's interior won me over fairly quickly. And even the spedometer on the screen id thought id hate it but I got used to it super fast. Secondly it was the center console on the polestar 2. I am 6'2 or 190cm. And the center console in polestar 2 just completelly ruined my right knee. Scraping it and vibrations from the road didnt help. After an hour I got out and had such pain in it. Thirdly the speed in the model 3 performance is far superior. It feels like a familly sedan with a sports car thrown into the mix. And ive always loved sedans more .

There's a good ten grand difference in price between these. A more realistic race would be P2 dual motor, and the Model 3 long range.

POLESTAR 2 is best when backing up! Like many manufacturers they go to electric cars while backing !!!! and it's the fastest! Tesla always faster forward (to the future and beyond !!!)

Rory - Electric cars, unlike petrol cars, can go as fast backwards and they can forwards.
Dan - I'm up to 15 mph backwards and that's all I've got.

It’s amazing how NONE of the car reviewers understand that they should use the Long Range Tesla Model 3 vs the Polestar 2. Come on people. Here in norway, those are also the ones closest to one another in price, I’d love to see some drag races between them. Also because it seems the Polestar 2 might be a bit quicker than the official numbers, and the LR Model 3 has been updated since launch. That would actually be an interesting video.
