They are both technically mid engine cars it is just where the driver sits is different both cars have the engine placed behind the front wheels and infront of the rear wheels the difference is that the c8 is a mid rear engine car because the engine sit behind the driver but infront of the rear wheels the c7 is also a mid engine car it is just a mid front engine car because the engine sits behind the front wheels but it is still infront of the driver
