Dude thanks for being real and showing when stuff slips away. I would much rather watch someone who missed a fish and analysed what they did wrong out loud than pretend they're the best ever and never miss a fish.

Much respect Jordan with pushing those barbs down, fishermen and hunters were the first conservationists.

Love trout fishing, have been using the same rig since I was 14. My first fishing pole was a 9 foot long bamboo with a string tied to the end, my first fish was an 6 inch long black crappy. The rig I have been using since I was 14, is a Mitchell 300 on a 7 foot Roddy rod. Have three spare spools(4 total) for it, loaded with everything from 6 pound to 20 pound mono. Have fished a couple creeks that you have to low crawl up to, to fishing in the Pacific. My smallest fish was about 2 inches, same size as the Dare Devil lure I was using and my largest was a 76 inch long, 94 pound blue shark taken on a double 0/1 eagle claw rig with a herring filet, drift fishing off the bottom, about 80 feet deep with a sandy bottom. Biggest fresh water fish was a bull Chinook at 42 pounds. My last fishing trip, I caught an almost 3 foot long blue shark at the mouth of the Umpqua River, on a big sand shrimp.

Have used the same rig to catch a mess of big bullfrogs, to catching a mess of black crappie for supper. Have fished crystal clear creeks where the rod was twice as long as the creek was wide and you had to belly crawl to get close to it to fish it. I am now 70 and still use that same set up, it looks a bit battered, but I take care of it, flush it with fresh water after using it in the ocean, then making sure there is no sand in the mechanism and all the moving parts are lubricated with a good reel grease and replace the line when it starts to look old and used up or once every other year. Have not been out fishing yet this year. We have a new fishing pond south of town that I have not fished yet, it is stocked with various size rainbow.

My strangest fishing trip that I have gone on, was while I was in WestPac. Went fishing with a local fisherman, he took me out after octopus. We got in the water in the lagoon, and went after them by hand. I got one that had three foot long tentacles, we had it for a late afternoon lunch, with Saki, fresh raw vegetables and of course the raw sliced octopus tentacles, dipped in a mild sauce. Fishing is fun and satisfies the appetite, when I was young, I enjoyed fishing where ever I was stationed. Had a unique tackle box, too bad it was lost in a fire, at least the rod and reel were in the truck.

I've seen I don't know how many fishing sites. I just stumbled upon Jordan and Addicted tonight. I don't know why, but he comes across so real. I believe he knows how to fish and the way he communicates what he knows is natural and engaging. Thanks for the content!! I believe I may have found a favorite.

These never get old. It brightens my day whenever I open up YouTube and there is a new tutorial or even a fishing trip video posted. And when there is none, I can re-watch one of the many without a hint of boredom. Well done guys! Keep 'em coming!

I river fish exclusively. Panther Martin's have caught me trout, pike, bass and salmon as well as some carp and a catfish. That's basically all I use now. Love them

Got to say thank you for teaching me the west coast ways bro. Thanks to you I was able to adapt to my new fishing hole, the Spokane River. Was an Midwest bass fisherman and I was more than clueless. When it came to cold, clean, mountain fed rivers.

Long story short. Thanks to you I was able to have a more.than successful and great time fishing the Spokane River in Spokane for a few years. Caught more than my fair share of trout.

Now back in the Midwest I'm happy to have recently learned, I can drive less than 2 hrs away and once again encounter trout! Not just trout but some salmon! So now my new goal is to catch a Steele or coho! Yee haw! I'm studying these weird rivers out here I've been out a few times. Springs on its way. Now I'm more than confident I'll be landing, smoking, and eating some salmon soon enough! God Bless and thank you!!

Just a couple years ago I started using my 5’ ultralight spinning rod to fly-fish with nymphs & streamers. Am surprised how good it works. 4-6 lb mono and usually 4X floro tippet, 12’ or longer. The short rod length helps allot on the tiny- small streams I like for wild brooks and browns.
