Most of us have heard "Stage 2 WRX" or "Stage 1 Tune on my GTI" at a car show or at the track. Where did these terms come from and why does it bother some of us so much to hear them? In this video we go over performance packages, stages and more!

I broke it down like this….
Stage 1 intake and exhaust
Stage 2 drivetrain upgrade (clutch)
Forced induction/Nitrous
Stage 3 Built motor+

I changed the wiper fluid water pump to a higher flow one. Now when I wanna use the windshield wiper, the water jet sprays all the way to the cars 20 meters behind mine and washes all their windscreens as well.
What about adding a third turbo to my stock twin turbo N54 engine?
Do these count as a stage 2 tune? 😂

I recently got into cars and I’m not sure if this is stupid question or not but I’m just curious. Are the stage upgrades able to be built or applied on a V6 ? For example a 21 Charger Gt and not shit on the engine ?

It varies by car. Example BMW 535i N54 motor. Other supporting mods also required like sensors, not listed here. That's privileged info.
Stage 1. Charge pipe and tune
Stage 2. DCI and Downpipes and FMIC
Stage 2+. FLEX Fuel sensor and LPFP
Stage 3. Hybrid Turbos and full exhaust
Stage 3+. HPFP or Port Injection and tune

It's a nice industry standard when looking for a clutch, but it seems like everyone has their own definition of what stages are what, on top of every vehicle being different.

Stage modification terms came from harleys waaayy before any of us were born.
