My husband and I found room in our home for a throwaway 13 year old boy. We knew all of the family members and the living conditions. He was blamed for everything negative in his upbringing to that point. We never got any support from either parent, which was ok. He was a good guy who fallowed our few rules. No problems from him ever. After graduating high school he went on his own. He is thirty six now a wonderful father and husband. I asked him how he stayed out of government assistance. He laughed and said “my parents showed me what I never wanted to be like”. Then told me we were his best examples to show him what he wanted from life. Love this man so much.❤❤❤

As someone with a learning disability, this hurts my heart, he's worth so much more than he knows and I hope he's able to succeed in his life

I really hope he's able to get on disability and find a place to stay with a support system, he deserves so much better than the streets

This is heartbreaking. My son is 17 and I couldn't imagine throwing him out into the streets. Praying for this young man. He seems like he has a kind heart.

This kid guided the right way could be someone really great. I'm 55 years old and have guided many kids like this young man to become responsible adult. You could see he has a good heart😊

As a mother myself I cannot possibly imagine turning my back on my own child. That is heartbreaking to watch, that young man needs lots of support and love.

This is why I would want to pay taxes. I don’t want to subsidize the hobbies of the rich, I don’t want to help pay for a fighter jet to be stocked with new missiles, I don’t give a shit about the DoD or the pentagon or anyone in Washington. But I will gladly contribute a cut of my paycheck to go to people like this, to feed him, to provide them with education at their level of learning, to help with their cost of housing. That is what “government” should be for: to help the citizens.

People if you really care, then adopt someone like this. He is not too old to adopt. He needs a forever family.

I have a 22 year old disabled son. I’m his legal guardian. This 17 year old needs someone who will ensure all of his personal needs are met. He should not be on the streets fending for himself. His mother should be charged for abandoning her child and put in jail.

Wishing the absolute best for bro… I’m on disability and was homeless for a few years n finally got housed a few months ago. God works in wonderful ways, may he keep him and everyone who is struggling in his hands🙌🙏

This is heartbreaking. How can a parent kick out their handicap son? This poor kid is a survivor. God Bless & keep him free of harm

Lord, please keep this young man safe and help him have a future where he will prosper. In time the words his mother said to him won't bear the same weight they once did, even if he'll never forget them.
