If you took another second and broke down the fact that: the unicorn has 1 horn. Goat has 2 horns. Small hydra has 3 heads. I’ll admit I don’t understand 4. Whatever creature 5 is has the 5 tentacles. Salamander has 6 horns. Also don’t understand what 7 is supposed to be. Spider obviously has the 8 legs. Big Hydra has 9 heads. So all the clues ARE there. The paper definitely isn’t needed, I didn’t find it until I had already solved it

Also, on all the door frames the creatures are in their numeral order. So once you figure out one of them, you pretty much can tell there you have the rest.

I’m sure if you didn’t have a bunch of people watching live you would’ve gotten it using the clues haha. It must be kind of nerve wrecking not getting a problem right away with eyes on you.

FINALLY ITS HERE! Just saw this in my recommendations & I literally jumped.
From the trailers, I was extremely hyped for this, just like everyone probably. Being a big harry potter fan, this is really something the fans can really dream for & ask for! This game is supposed to have lets say almost all the things a fanboy can ask for. Dont you agree?
Cant wait to go through! Gotta find some time to watch this as its going to be a long gameplay. Damn! Super excited!!

That platypus looking thing in the painting is a puffskin. Its in fantastic beast and where to find them and it's right up your alley. Its obsessed with anything shiny and stows it in a kangaroo pouch lol

@alltheshinies Here is a tidbit of info on currency in the Harry Potter world. "Wizarding money comes in three denominations: bronze Knuts, silver Sickles, and golden Galleons. There are 29 Knuts in one Sickle, and 17 Sickles make up a Galleon."

Missed chest at 32:48 on the right side, before you enter the room, and there are other chests you can cast Revelio to see starting almost immediately the moment you learn it in the vault and further on.

With the puzzle, the symbols around the door are in order, it just starts with 0 to 9, rather then 1 to 10, also there are key elements to each one, the unicorn has 1 horn, the ram has 2 horns, the spider has 8 legs, the crab has 5 legs, these all match the number they represent etc

I understand all the criticism this game has received, but all in all this game is an unpolished gem in my opinion. Considering that this is the first game of this gigantic magnitude, the developers did a fantastic job overall in my opinion. Especially with the combat, design of hogwarts and overall atmosphere of this game. I only wish it was a bit less "ubisofty" (obviously I know its not made by ubisoft. It's just an adjective). As in "fill the entire map with tiny relatively insignificant activities to make it feel fuller. Had they worked on that a bit more, this game would probably be one of my all time favourites. I still really like it overall.

Edit: The castle is something especially incredible. Honestly, exploring the castle is one of the most fun things I've done in a game in a long time. The entire design and attention to detail is so incredible. Just running around and finding things is so much fun.

Edit2: Also, I honestly LOVE the fact that you level by exploration. It really encourages you to see everythign even more. Especially the castle. The castle is so GOOD I can't stress it enough.

Edit3: I gotta add, though I love the combat overall, I think that there should be more 1v1 style duels, with vastly improved AI and non category protego (basically the same style of combat the player uses, just from an AI)
That would have made crossed wands a lot more fun. (Though crossed wands was a bit of a let down in general.)

Edit4: 2:57:30 I am honestly still a bit ashamed that I, as a "computer scientist" somehow managed to not get this puzzle. I was SO 100% sure I already counted 0-9 but it didn't work, that I assumed it was something else. But I either didn't count 0-9 and was delusional, or I somehow just... couldn't count. We all make mistakes, but considering how used I am to count 0-9, this was a weird mistake to make xD

Edit5: Sadly there are very few actually proper "classes" in the game. Though I gotta say, the writers really managed to catch the spirit, enthusiams and energy of good an proper teachers (unlike the ones I had in school xD) in all of them, though different styles they may be. I hope, if and when there will be a sequel, they expand on this. I love the school aspect of this. Afterall, Hogwarts is first and foremost a school and should thus teach the attending children.

Edit Random: I really would like to know, what the thought process of the developers was, when they decied that the opposing party during the first summoners court game would be Natty. Did they just think "Ohh yeah, Natty is the only semi-developed character at this point." or did they actually think of the Professors perspective of "friendly competition"? (As a competition between friendly/semi-friendly people is often VASTLY different to the competition between strangers.) This all might sound like non-sense, but the intention behind something as small as this could really tell quality from "luck".

For puzzle doors start at bottom left with "0" and count your way around the door. Yes the animals have some kind of # to them. Like, the spider has 8 legs = #8.
