Fun fact: A women on the titanic was on the boat when she remembered that her dog is still on the ship she went back but the other people on the rescue boat didn't want the dog to be there because it would "take up space" (It wasn't even a big dog ) so the women said she wouldn't go on the rescue boat without her dog and took her dog held it tight in her arms and died with her dog in peace. the ship's crew didn't ignore the ice warnings, they only received three and still decided to turn the ship farther south to escape the ice. Also, it was never said it was unsinkable. the company said it was practically unsinkable. they said the ship was as unsinkable as they could possibly make a ship. there was just too little technology at the time though.

On the Britannic, people were actually dying because of the still spinning propellers. While they successfully went into a lifeboat, the ship is still moving, because the propellers were still spinning. So when they launched themselves in the lifeboats, the propellers were coming for them, until it hits the lifeboat. And yeah, it's pretty gruesome.

The Titanic never claimed to be unsinkable, also the crew did not ignore warnings, they slowed the ship down around 3 knots

2:25 there was actually a women named Violet jessop who was on BOTH the Britannic and Titanic when they went down. She narrowly escaped death on Britannic, when the captain attempted to beach Britannic on the coast of Greece not knowing people were lowering lifeboats. The ship was listing to starboard (right) side and her boat was on her port (left) side. Because of the tilt her propellers were beginning to rise out of the water, sucking in her lifeboat and another lifeboat, resulting in a bloodbath of men being chopped to bits. She jumped out just in time, but hit her head against the ships rudder, knocking her out. She woke just in time to see the Britannic finally keel over and sink upon slamming her bow into the sea floor. She was also on the elder sister ship, the Olympic, when she was accidentally rammed by the destroyer HMS Hawke. She didn’t sink and ended up serving for 26 more years.
