Most people underestimate what they can do in a year, and overestimate what they can do in a day.

So... It's Bruce Lee saying "I fear not the man who has practiced 10, 000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10, 000 times."

Whenever you click on a video about self help stating how to do this and that, look back and think how many self help videos have you seen in the last 5 years, and how much did you change really, because in the end of the day, watching a solution is not the same as acting things out. Watching 1000 videos about success is not going to make you successful.

I'm surprised by how easily he convinced me.
That makes perfect sense.

Instead of trying to make radical changes in a short amount of time, just make small improvements every day that will gradually lead to the change you want. Each day, just focus on getting 1% better in whatever it is you’re trying to improve. That’s it. Just 1%.
It might not seem like much, but those 1% improvements start compounding on each other

3:24 what is slight edge :-
Success is not the result of doing difficult, extraordinary things rather doing unremarkable, relatively easy to do things every single day, over a long period of time.

The slight edge is an amazing book, by far one of the best i've ever read.

This video summarizes the principles in the slight edge flawlessly in an easy to understand and aesthetically pleasing format.

It’s the little changes that add up to large movements.
I have been reading every morning for at least 15 minutes and I am on track to finish 50 books in 6 months.

3:54 I've been doing something similar for the past 4 years and I have have compounded material that's gonna end up in a story of 3000+ pages. Write down your every idea, no matter how silly. Every scene you like, no matter how stupid or unfit for your story, write it down and keep it. I have a list of "test scenes" that's been growing and growing, and it's a gold mine. It's really satisfying just writing down your perfect scene, even if you know you probably won't use it. Some day there might be a way to use it after all.

Now I understand why I watched YouTube for 2, 5 years straight. I was looking for this video. It's just concludes and summarizes everything I watched before, but puts it in such an easy way, plus this graphics.. Simply amazing. Thank you ❤️
