Book lover by day, Booktuber by night. I'm always reading some kind of YA/Fantasy/Sci-Fi book. I live in the North East of England, have a useless archaeology degree (thanks Tomb Raider for the inspo), and when my nose is not in a book you can guarantee I'm off travelling. Your videos are more exciting than FT boxes themselves ❤ The small art print from the September romantasy box is for the Wren in the Library - they were supposed to include a reversible dust jakcet for that but an error was made, so they've added an art print instead 😊 I hope to see some more videos with your thoughts on the books you read. I never intended to have another break, nevermind my longest one yet. For a while I didn't think I would come back because I have been struggling so much. Basically, I got diagnosed with autism, which I really was not expecting and I spent a lot of time in denial and very upset, but with worsening symptoms. It was actually by talking about it publicly on Instagram that I ended up gaining a really supportive network which helped me to come back to the person I want to be online. I've always struggled with anxiety and burn out, and hidden away all of the extra things about myself that have a negative impact on my wellbeing. Obviously books is a huge part of my interests so I'm grateful to have this platform to share it with, although some parts of that can be tiring, especially spending so long infront of a camera hiding my tics and speech issues. I'm slowly starting to feel calmer and "back to normal" but I'm still finding some things overwhelming so apologies if I don't reply to your comment like I usually would, it's just a lot sometimes ❤

My son is autistic. He makes my life not just a joy but so much more interesting than it would have been without him. He makes me see things I would have missed. Don’t think of it as a negative. You are a remarkable person with a unique perspective.

You’re right, FL has become more consistent. Sometimes their redesigns and naked boards feel a little simple/repetitive but overall they’ve been going all out which is great!
I’m glad I cancelled my YA and adult last year. I’m torn about Romantasy, the first few didn’t thrill me pick or design wise, but they’ve stepped up in recent months. We’ll see!

Hi Ness, my best friend has autisme and she is awsome. Having the diagnoses does open up posibilities for support and help you cope when you are feeling overwelmed by for instance houswork or organizing. Dont hesitate to use it to make your life easier. Glad you are back❤❤

I'm glad you're back. I love watching your unboxings. I just gave up on Illumicrate because I didn't like the books. My reading taste didn't resonate with their book selection at all. I've had a subscription since December and in that time I've only really liked one book. I've switched to FR Adult instead and I hope that's it be good choice. :D
