I have lupus and it sucks. You gain more autoimmune issues as time passes and the medication sucks. They generally put you on methotrexate which is a low dose of chemo. You become naturally recluse as you’re no longer the energetic person you once were and going out is hard.. trips are hard.. I knew she had lupus so this isn’t surprising to me. She’s still gorgeous!! I’m happy she has a supportive boyfriend that loves her for who she is, not what she once was. Every “good” day is cherished and health is wealth. Also, the medications depending on what you’re in but most of us are on the same stuff, can give your face a “fuller “ look . It honestly depends on the “season” in which your lupus is.. everyone is different. I wish her nothing but happiness and pain free days. She will always be a stunning lady! ❤

I have lupus, got it when I was 15. One of the typical medication is cortisone or Prednisolone whatever u call it. And some of the side effects is weight gain but also a build up of fluid in the body so the face, feet, hands and legs can be more swollen than before. Ofc there is much more medications you have to take and sadly for the rest of your life. So how she looks like now isn’t surprising but also she is ageing it’s natural not to look permanently 25.

I have SLE Lupus. It’s terrible and painful. Also, it is impossible not to have an effect when it comes to depression. 💜

This is what an autoimmune disease does to you. You swell up because there’s so much inflammation in your body from it attacking itself. Sometimes you wake up so tired with flu symptoms because your body is busy fighting you. It’s not fun and she goes through enough already.
