That’s a great bag choice ! One of my favorite travel hacks for backpacking trips is to buy Lush shampoo bars. You get to remove a lot of your liquid allowance that way making it possible to carry on through TSA.

Buy a Scrubba bag, portable washing machine that fits in your pocket. Buy woolen items too. Turkish towels are great too.

The bag that I think is really good, is the Gregory facet, 45 as you can take off the top lid, which makes it smaller, and it fits on most airlines as a carry on

Enjoy your trip Maddie❤ I would recommend you to carry a small first aid kit. I did a two months solo travel to Guatemala last summer and my first aid essentials were: adhesive plasters, medication to manage diarrhoea and oral rehydration salts for hydration (those were extremly useful)😅
And finally only drink bottled water! Love your content❤
