She has turned down offers from several major labels cause she says her purpose is to sing for those who are struggling and suffering in life.

Sometimes who is the best? Naturally, the choice varies depending on various perspectives.
However, sometimes it's so overwhelming that you can't think about anything else. That is Sohyang.
That overwhelming feeling that transcends everything. A level that is normal only when there is no disagreement.

This woman survived ovarian cancer found on her honeymoon. The treatments rendered her unable to have kids, which was devastating to her and her husband. She also contracted hepatitis from blood transfusions and that can really affect her health and singing sometimes. Regardless, she rededicated her life to singing in order to bring people joy and hope and comfort. As far as I’m concerned she’s an angel walking among us.

She and her husbands family do all her arranging and she tours with her church band and backing singers. She’s also a sci-fi author and a music teacher. She’s been offered big money from David Foster and other American music producers, but she knew she’d lose creative control, and that it didn’t require a big contract for her to sing to comfort people.

You have just witnessed a small sample of the flexibility in the PHENOMENAL So Hyang's voice. Her vocal range is RIDICULOUS and her breath control is INSANE and UNMATCHED. This event was in 2015, when So Hyang was 37 years old. She is now 45 years old, and she continues to prove her technique is ROCK SOLID!! She looks fantastic and she sounds better than ever. So Hyang, her husband and some assistants, arrange every aspect of her live performances; the music, backing vocals, staging, lighting, etc.
