“Net returns” refers to the annualised internal rate of return net of all fees and costs, calculated from the offering closing date to the sale date. IRR may not be indicative of Masterworks paintings not yet sold and past performance is not indicative of future results.

This "roof garden" is essentially building a (obviously A/C-cooled) greenhouse out of concrete and glass in 500 m, yet they still advertise it as "eco friendly". Incredible marketing

Back in the 80s, there was talk of building a gigantic pyramid that covered Tokyo bay. It would have doubled the living area of the city. This reminds me of that.

With skyscrapers being considered fallic symbols, this is a full on penetration

There is no reason to have it that tall, or have so few towers. The hanging transport would be very difficult to maintain, and a pointless risk to people below it. It would look great in a sci-fi computer game though.

The Burg Kalifa sticking up through a circle has some phalic vibes going on They should add a water jet shooting from the top of Tower to complete the concept

I don't see how that "ring" is possible with today's materials.
It would need much stronger materials than we have now for such long spans to exist, never mind the curved cantilever aspect.

Those spans between the 5 towers look unachievable. Surely you'd see suspension bridge like structures between each tower which would have to protrude way past the 500m mark.

Is Dubai that short on space and in need of this kind of real estate?

It reminds me of NewYork's 'Big Bend' skyscraper rendering which was designed by Ioannis Oikonomou and London's 'The Tulip' tower. Architects do get bored sometimes and come up with such sick yet enjoyable ideas.

So how many sewerage trucks will be needed for this?

Dubai: Useless impractical skyscrapers surrounded by empty fields of sand and a lack of human rights.

They need to do a Klein bottle type building next so you can simultaneously inside and outside. Sort of like a 3D Mobius strip.
Seems like the only option left to make.

Dubai is in a "most stupid urban planning" competition with itself.

Imagine being in or owning a building underneath that lot....

Imagine there was some sort of emergency like a fire and all the inhabitants would have to escape through the same handful of staircases

This looks like if Apple Park and the Marina Bay Sands had a weird baby.
