Amazing how they accomplish such a complex undertaking. Just overwhelming thinking about the logistics involved. A great deal of respect for the architects, engineers and construction workers who worked on this project.

The technology and planning involved is an absolute marvel.

Dubai is a soulless city. It's the Las Vegas of the Middle East, it's enjoyable to visit once and only if you have money to spend. I wouldn't want to live there even if I was rich. I'd rather live in Turkey instead for example. So much history behind the country, very culturally rich, and not to mention the beautiful cities and views. Dubai is so overrated.

It doesn't cost 100$ to visit the upper floors, it's not even half that. Packages start from 150AED which is 40$

At some point, a construction crane was the tallest building in the world when it was used to build the tallest building in the world.
