She hit that high note in “Emotions” and whistle register at the end like it was nothing to it! You go, girl! Now, I wouldn’t say that I’m one of her lambs, because I don’t care for her singing that much, but girlfriend slayed on both songs! She definitely had me “feeling emotions higher than the heavens above”.

I like YDKWtD so damn much — its sampling of Inner Life’s “I’m Caught Up (In a One Night Love Affair)” is/was a genius idea for those who have nostalgic catnip like me for “old school” music. Like, if they didn’t sample it with “I’m Caught Up” and used a beat of something much more recent, I wouldn’t probably care for the song at all whatsoever. But Pharrell knew what to do to make it danceable and easy to recall and we have to/must thank God for that, haha!
