😳 WOW, Lisa. I'm sorry. I don't always read lots of the comments, but unfortunately, today I did. I've never seen so many "nit-picky" comments, complaints, or just seemingly unhappy viewers. Did everyone get coal in their stocking? Oh, my. I love that you're evolving, learning new things, or just trying to improve. It’s absolutely beautiful the way you move around the kitchen, working purposefully with your hands and bringing your daughter in with you. We’re currently living in an RV and figuring out how to make scratch cooking work in such a tiny space has been a challenge! Thank you for these simple ideas!

Watching your daughter cut the pasta was interesting. There were a few sheets that were a bit wider than the cutter. I always cut those sheets in half and then put them through. But it looks like they go through for her with no problem. 💕🌞🌵😷

I listened to your podcast about how important it is to mill our own flour. Wow! That was so eye opening! I inherited my mother in laws wheat grinder and immediately milled some flour and whipped up some bread. Thank you so much for the information.

That’s so cool you had Sue Becker on your podcast! I’ve never met Sue but I’ve met many of her family members at their Bread Beckers shop here in Georgia and they are SO lovely! So many of the bakers there love your channel too!

Wow milling your own grains is awesome. That's cool. It is wonderful that your child loves to make pasta. I have never made my own pasta and think if a child learns, they can use that skill throughout their adulthood. Great job to her! Your family eats so many things from scratch or straight from the farm and I really love that!

My goodness me, Lisa, I just thought of you all day. We have been redoing our 4 kids' room, and the house was a complete mess. And during the whole process i went "how did Lisa not go mad moving her whole house?!"😅.
But how nice to sit now with a cup of tea on our couch and watch your video 🥰

Roast beef, carrots etc is one of our favorite meals.
Now I never would have thought about using the “ keep warm” function on the insta-pot as a form of slow cooker. I am excited to try that…

I don’t know if you will see this but my neighbor gave me her recipe for a tasty “egg wash” for Stromboli. She takes an egg, minced parsley and Parmesan cheese and blends them together. Then spreads it on the rolled out dough before you put the filling on. She then places it all over the rolled dough. The addition of Parmesan and parsley together is amazing.

This is my favorite kind of food! Your pot roast and gravy looked divine! This channel has inspired so many changes in my cooking/baking over the past 2 years. I bought a cheap grain mill and used it religiously for a year to mill wheat for my breads. Then for Christmas, my husband got me a WonderMill! I'm over the moon, as I had just listened to the podcast episode on whole grains.
