Back when 5 minute crafts was actually good

Some tips the hopefully help:
It works. In fact, I’m using it on my wall right now. Just put in your device, and might have to adjust how far it is from the lense it is. If that doesn’t work, adjust how far the box is from your “screen.” For me, it was upside down, so I took my IPad (since the phone in portrait orientation is upright) and put it portrait orientation lock, the flipped it upside down. The image projects fine, and is actually quite clear if you adjust the device’s and box’s positions. Also, the room has to be very dark or decently dark, like a regular movie theater. When you make this, think drive-in movies. You have to project it onto a flat, white ( or light shaded surface, although white works best) surface, like a wall or whiteboard. But make sure it’s clear and doesn’t have things all over it! Hope those help because it actually works.

Okay this works perfect I just recommend Turing your phone upside down and putting it far as possible (as it comes out clearer)

What kind of lens is that? Doesn't work on mine.

It works but you just have to adjust the phone and play around a little to figure it out. I think that the quality of the magnify glass doesn't really matter because I got mines at dollarama. Hope you guys like my tip.

Pro tip. If you put a mirror inside it you can project the image the right way round.
Like this: /_ )

Key:
/ = mirror
_ = smartphone
) = lense

I’ve tried having my phone screen at 100% brightness, I’ve tried turning off all my lights, I’ve tried moving my phone closer, tried moving it further away from the glass, this doesn’t work. All that happens is lights show up against a piece of paper when I tested it out. This is rubbish, I never even got a picture. How on earth is this supposed to work?
